Welcome Message from the President

It is a great honor and pleasure to introduce you to the Harvard Arabian Gulf Student Association (HAGSA). I am proud to have co-founded this organization with my dear friend, Abdulla Almarzooqi, to be the first Harvard University-wide organization that represents the Arabian Gulf. The goal of this establishment is to be the leading Harvard-wide student organization, with more than 70 members and counting, and to serve as a credible entity from the region bridging the gap between the Harvard ecosystem and the Arabian Gulf.

HAGSA is dedicated to creating a warm, supportive environment for Arabian Gulf and the region students at Harvard, offering a home away from home. We strive to celebrate and honor our region’s rich heritage while fostering meaningful connections and collaborations with world-class experts. Our mission is to bridge cultures and inspire mutual growth through genuine, impactful academic and innovative engagement.

At HAGSA, we aim to set the standard for success in student organizations around the world. We are delighted to see how the Arabian Gulf community at Harvard has embraced and supported HAGSA in a short period of time.
